Designed to celebrate Bertone’s Centennial,the Nuccio is a tribute to the company’s historical owner, and represents the typically Bertone genetic code as an “extreme” sports car (4.3-liter, 8-cylinder engine with 480 hp).
The car has a low, muscular monovolume architectural layout, which reverently refers to some historical Bertone designs of the past, true milestones of car design, like the 1968 Alfa Romeo Carabo, the 1970 Lancia Stratos 0, and the 1971 Lamborghini Countach.
The concept car that Bertone will world previwe at the Geneva Motor Show (8-18 March) to celebrate its Centenary is called the Nuccio, after the never-to-be-forghetten master of italian styling in the world.
The Nuccio is an "extreme" sportscar that plus an evolutionary inprint on the concept that is built minto Bertone's dna: the mind-rear engine berlinetta. Formally, the Nuccio takes its layout fron the low, muscolar one-box design that is part of the company's historic tradition.
At the same time, it display a styling language of strong emotional impact that projects the brand's identity into the future.
