The unique OSCA engine #2501 wich was the only 6 cylinder double ignition engine that was ever developed by OSCA WORKS into 2,5 litre capacity for formula one and the 3000 cc sportscar racing class is located by Dr. Alfieri Maserati for the chassis sn 2004.
The experimental engine is found in a Caproni hangar near Milano airport. It was stored there, after the OSCA WORKS closed down and it had been run occasionally on a test bed just to maintain its function (ref. Dr. Alfieri Maserati).
