90 Anni 1000 Miglia exhibition. Opening on May 5th.

Automotive Masterpieces and Museo Mille Miglia celebrate the 90th anniversary of the most beautiful race in the world organizing an exhibition – never done before - of cars that participated in the Mille Miglia (1927-1957). The opening is scheduled May 5, 2017.

The project is under the patronage of the Automobile Club Brescia.

The Mille Miglia was an open-road endurance race which took place in Italy twenty-four times from 1927 to 1957 (thirteen before the war, eleven from 1947). From 1953 until 1957, the Mille Miglia was also a round of the World Sports Car Championship.

It is underway the global census of all the Mille Miglia cars. For each one it is realized a specific website with all the details about its “sport life”, showing documents, pictures, videos, press review and much more.

AUTOMOTIVE MASTERPIECES believes in making the motoring heritage openly accessible in a digital way, to promote the exchange of ideas and knowledge as well as through exhibitions. There will be few ways to log onto the extra content of each car. For example thanks to touch screen totems, placed alongside the museum pathway or through the feed received from beacons placed on each car and BLE technology (Bluetooth Low Energy). Internet of Things. The past meets the present.
